Nimbus, the Little Cloud

High above the green meadows and tall oak trees, there lived a very small cloud named Nimbus. He was so tiny that the other clouds barely noticed him.

Every morning, the big clouds would gather and make it rain on the gardens below. The flowers would drink and the grass would grow tall and green.

But when Nimbus tried to rain, his drops were so tiny they dried up before reaching the ground. "I am useless," he sighed, drifting sadly across the wide blue sky.

One hot summer day, Nimbus floated over a little garden at the edge of the village. The sunflowers there had drooped and turned pale. The soil was hard and cracked.

Nimbus wanted so much to help. He could not make big drops, but he tried his best. What came out was something new: hundreds of tiny, feather-light droplets that floated down like a soft mist.

The mist was cool and gentle. It landed on each petal like a whisper. One by one, the sunflowers began to lift their heads.

By evening, the garden was alive again. The sunflowers stood tall and bright, their yellow faces turned toward the setting sun.

Below, a little girl named Anna looked up at the sky. She could not see Nimbus — he was so small. But she felt the cool mist on her cheeks, and she smiled.

"Thank you, little cloud," she whispered.

Nimbus glowed with joy. He learned that day that even the smallest cloud can make a big difference — just by being exactly what it is.
